not that i'm dissing the xbox, i've got one of them as well (the 360) but the cost of getting online, while small at £40 a year, is still £40 more than it costs to play the ps3 online for that year, and, after a efw eyars, it's still going to be cheaper, just even more so
and the games companyes will come round to the fact that their games will sell more if they market them at more consoles so bill needs to up his game a fair amount
Are you for real, Dojj? A serious contender? It wipes the floor with the ps3 as it is. For gaming and online gaming it just owns it hands down that's it plain and simple. Even lots of the extra content comes out on 360 first. Same old tiresome arguments we hear about Blur ray but the 360 doesn't need blu ray.
Oh and membership is £28 for 13 months not £40 which is very worth it for how good it is. I can't believe PS3 owners are now using the consoles appearance as plus point.
It meant to play games people anything else is a bonus.
If you want a blu ray then go out and buy a proper one but if you want the best games consoles and best online gaming experience get a 360. It will stream films, music and chat with PC's + msn as well but again that's just a side point. You'll never own all the games and Gran Turismo is one game yet thats all you ever hear from PS3 owners, blu ray and GT. ( oh now that it looks prettier apparantly)
There are more PS3 owners on here though it seems so you won't get a balanced view.
Benni, if its under 3 years olds then box it up, call them and they will collect it label it, fix/replace and return it. 1.5 weeks out of a year and a half ownerships wasn't too painful for me. Best gaming console by far and that's coming from someone who looked at a PS3 as well before buying and owned the other playstations in the past and loved them.
