The new 3M pads and polishes in their paint rectification system are a pretty good place to start, as is the new Menzerna range of pads and polishes from Germany. We use both systems regularly in conjunction with Makita 9227CB rotary polishers in our studio, varying the pad/polish combination depending on the paint type being polished. If you are keen to start experimenting with new products to take your future results further, then I would suggest 3M is the way to go.
