Thanks for the answers. My car FAILED the MOT thanks to these number plates Ive had similier plates on my cars for atleast 5 years, so I was proper pissed.

Went home, got my old plates and stuck them on with double sided tape The bloke who owned the garage more or less told me I was taking the piss and he really wasn't happy He told me to restick them properly, so I put a bit more tape on and went looking for him. He came back after 5mins with the paper work and she PASSED He didn't even recheck the plates

Will get some velcro for next year and just swap them for the MOT as its too much grief otherwise. So £270 spent on TAX and MOT today just for the priviledge to drive my car for another year
