used to be an engineer at rover so should know. K-series only went to 1.8. It was then the T-series for 2.0 and turbo versions.

The engine mounts between T and K share no resembalence so its not a direct swap if you wanted to bin the K for a T.

T series is good but watch for the sticking valves. This was cured by changing them for sodium filled versions, but only some were done on warranty. ECU is capable of handling a little boost tweek but not too much, should be good for 15bhp, but careful of the turbos as they were on there boost limit as standard so this is probably your weak point.

Apart from that its a good engine. used to love it in all cars especially the tomcat. Used to think it was v quick until i beat one easily in the cossie
