are you not best to have a face to face chat with your gaffer and see what the problem is
i had the same problem before i worked self empolyed
ps too contain your angry as throwing a hammer at the gaffer gets you sacked i know this
then you have no job and when you go foor your next job interview it doesnt go in you favour
