Yes your car has many of the right old skool parts....and yes many years ago your car with one of its previous owners pulled off a very quick top speed for the era but, Im afraid for it to honestly maintain the status it acheived in the Ford scene around a decade ago then you need to make some big changes to it as its got to play a big game of catch up imo. Currently a 3dr thats considered to have all the right bits runs along the lines of Paul or North Yorks RS breakers 3dr....have a look at his build thread on that one.
