you say have volume without pressure, check the actual pressure with a guage, if you havent got one, then buy one.
If this car has not had any engine work recently sound like the galleries in the head are blocked assuming all else is good.

Were going to try this over the next couple of days when we can get access to a compressor. the cams and followers are out now ready.
