you can use a Single throw relay instead of a SPDT

10v at the pump is dangerous!

make sure you get a good earth point too, there's lots of rusty bits on cossie's - better still, earth back to the battery
28/030 cable should be OK, but dont quote me as wiring isnt my strong point
