the car in question

bought the car 4 years ago from a friend of jens.

nice example running greys, t34 ,ported head but on std. gearbox.the previous owner was a 58 year old that didnt drive like he stole it.

when i got it the first thing that let go was the gearbox.bought a new/used gearbox of ian howell at racetek.

where having some good fun with it before i got powerhungry and started putting on bigger turbo and injectors.

then jens talked me into converting to pectel T2 management.

then i started building a new garage/storage facility.
everything was looking good until this happend

that has to be one off the worst days ever
the cossie,my capri,my dieselbimmer, the caravan,my boat and both my tractors where damaged when the building collapsed.
the only vehicle that werent damaged were a mini mkII that is the rustiest car in the world

this picc is after the garage were rebuilt

so after a lot of thought i decided that i should rebuild the car.

soon realised that the body of the car was in a worse state than i first thought so i decided to reshell it

talked to rolf klypen about this reshelling idea and he said that he knew of a bloody good shell.

went to vinstra and looked at it.i couldnt belive my eyes,a mint sapph shell in black, stored for the last 8 years.one off the last wolf sierras

picked it up after a lot of work getting it on the trailer.

here we are going over valdresflya.next to jotunheimen national park

at home my mechanic started to work straight away

its my 4 year old boy practising

thats all for now.have been hoping to get it running again to gatebil but...

i havent got a loom for the pectel sq6,my rods are still in sweden,my pistons are in the usa and my gearbox is sold

cheers
i remember all your storm damage pics you must post some up

before and after

awesome rebuild
