basically most paintshops and some valeters can mop the car for you. It basically involves using some sort of cutting compound and a mop (looks like and angle grinder but with a sponge head on it)

With the compound and the heat and friction caused by the mop head it actually can remove scuffs and scratches if their not too bad!!

The compounds is slightly gritty hence its able to remove scratches etc
