Hi Martin,. Good point!. I had played around with stopping and starting several times thinking she would again die on me, and just maybe I didn't leave the Relay out long enough in my frrustration!. (the oddity of the fuses not terminating the running still baffles me!. Position 11 is shown on the underside of the fusebox lid as being 'blank' (ie:'Spare'?) by the way).

I went for a drive of some 3 miles ans needless to say it went perfectly - - but that's par for the course with this darn fault!!
Once I get home today I will have a bash at trying to start her with the Relay out and also listening for the pump whine first.(couldn't hear it before with the engine running, of course).
I do now have a set of all Relays from a Breakers, so will start carrying them now!.
