Hi all,thanks for your comments guys.basically the way i am looking at it is this.
1.ive only recently got the car
2.the bloke i bought it from ragged the shit out of it constantly
3.need new mounts,going for vibratechs
when i said i wanted 200bhp plus i ment it,i know a standard engine can take 200bhp and my car is not that far of achieving that anyway.BUT i want my engine to be reliable,i dont wanna be scared to put my foot down incase i break something lol.
karlos g IMO i thought standard rods n pistons were only good for 220bhp so if i run 200bhp+ its not going to last very long is it? fair enough bout the low comp pistons i didnt know that,what about mahles forgeds instead?
A few websites ive looked at said standard head gasket needs to be changed @15psi but ur not the only 1 to say theyre ok.
as for management i did mention omex and gotech and that i know it will be better with that on it rather than runnin mfi.at least nobody said i didnt need a new manifold lol i know i dont but i want a s/s one. i want my engine to be able to breathe and flow nicely,s/s no carbon and imo the more it can flow and breathe the better it will perform.didnt think the stage 3 would be too much thought itd be perfect il have to look into it.
