ET49 with a 6.5J will be horribly skinny looking regarless of if it hits the strut.
You want to be on the other side of the typical 7J and ET35 for proper looks

You could, but the tyres don't sit as nice on skiny rims.
I've also found that big spacers also exaggerate any wheel wobbles to quite a large extent.
What wheels are they?
