Hi all, I thought you might like to see my latest purchase!

Whilst looking about on ebay, I stumbled across a Mondeo ST24 with accident damage which didnt look too bad!

Unfortunately it is classed as a category c write off , but seeing as I want to keep it for myself and am not looking to fix up and sell on, I not too bothered tbh.

The damage consists of a damaged n/s/f wing, door and sideskirt. No suspension or chassis damage (a mate of mine has checked this and it does drive spot on!).

The car has only got 60k miles on it and other than the above damage is very straight and tidy.

I agreed with the seller to go down to see the car before I made up my mind so I went along with my mate Steve (thanks again mate! ), armed with a new wing to fit so I could drive it back if I bought it (which I obviously did! ), a price of £800 was agreed and I had invested in another Mondy!

The inner wing was quite bent up as something had tried to literally 'rip' the wing off , but with my mate's bodywork skills we had the inner wing straightened up and the wing fitted!

All I've got to do is source another door, sideskirt and door mirror, get them fitted and painted and jobs a goodun!

There are a couple of other niggly little things to sort out but nothing major.

Overall, I'm really happy with it!
