It is with much regret that i have to do this but i have to get my priorities right & it does'nt justify me keeping it as its barely used. Alot of hardwork has gone into this over the winter months & its still not 100% finished (in my eyes) but with a Florida holiday fastly approaching i have little choice.
I basically bought this as a shell with interior from a friend who'd put all the running gear in an Escos, it had NO running gear at all, I then bought a really ropey doner car that had a really good spec'd engine & it drove wicked but looked like shit & was covered in rust (Hence where all the flint grey bits i had on here for sale came from). I then built 1 good car from the 2.
Very clean F reg in Moonstone Blue with 112,000.
Mot until november 09 & tax til the end of this month.
Huge folder of history & old MOTs & receipts etc.
ENGINE:
205 block that when the head was removed showed signs of a rebuild as pistons were aftermarket & were oversized also bores were MINT no wear & honing marks visable BUT there was no proof so you'll just have to take it as gospel. It does'nt knock or smoke at all on start up or under load, Has no piston slap & to be fare has never skipped a beat. Head measured 138.3mm Not 100% sure got it wrote down will double check late.
It has a ported & polished head with standard cams, Brand new cometic multi-layer head gasket fitted 3 weeks ago & done 100 miles max, Running greys & a T34/.48 with brand new collins actuator, Bosch 044 fuel pump, chip made by Joe @ Bluesprint, It has a 60mm Pro-Alloy rs500 style intercooler, Bailey breather, Swirl pot & Power steering tank & a forge Header tank. Nearly complete samco set bar 2 hoses, Big piper X air filter, 3" mongoose exhaust just had the center box removed has 4" outward rolled tail.
INTERIOR:
Very good leather No wear to the drivers bolster No shrinking door cards. Pretty much standard hav'nt got around to re-fitting the gauges yet.
EXTERIOR:
Paintwork is excellent has very good arches no rust at all very straight. There is some bubbles by the rear window rubber on the drivers side but could be easily sorted. 2 small dents on the same door but got a dent man coming out friday so they will be gone.
Underneath is very good as ive been over this car many a times especially as it had no rear beam,prop & gearbox etc & i cannot find 1 piece of rust & cannot see ANY previous welding, It has been recently undersealed.
BRAKES:
Standard calipers on the front with Drilled & Grooved EBC discs & new Mintex 1144 pads. Rears are vented 4x4 set-up.
SUSPENSION:
Koni adjustables with 30mm springs. Complete car recentley polybushed.
WHEELS:
7.5 x 17" OZ super T's 2 brand new front tyres (Budget) Goodyear Eagle F1's on the rear.
Heres a quick list of all the parts recently replaced:
New standard clutch.
Full polybushe set front & rear.
New Cometic head gasket.
New Inlet & rocker gaskets.
New Speedo,clutch & throttle cables.
New mintex front pads.
New cambelt.
Recent service with plugs & filters, oil/filter (Mobil 1 motorsport).
It does need a few bits doing & ive taken this into consideration with the price.
Tappets are alittle Noisey but comes & goes, Crack in windscreen (passenger top corner) & steering column bushes need replacing. Nothing too major IMO just cant afford to get them done!
