Mmm yeah i can't disagree with you there micky, the engine's done a few miles now, always had an uprated breather though! Tbh the oil pressure's never been great when the car's properly hot on track, always fine on the road where abviously it's never under the same loads. I noticed the oil pressure dropping off then goin up again on the straights, and to be fair it was chucking a fair bit out of the breather into the homemade catch tank so engine wear could be the cause i guess! Out of interest mickey, what sort of oil pressure do you see on track when the oil temps are say 100 degrees? A suitable catch tank will do for the next couple of track days but looks like i may have to crack on with the steel bottom end build a bit sharpish, got most of the bits at least. Oh...and on reading that thread, i have used an aftermarket sump so that may be a problem, wouldn't know what else to get though? Don't want the same thing happening with the new bottom end that's for sure!
