Any car can ''pink'' its could nothing to do with boost tho, its timing out. When the car comes on boost it will make it a lot worse though

Yes your right any car can 'pink' if the timing is out or if it is lean for any reason, and as you say for turbo charged cars it's a lot more dangerous because of the extra volume of gasses in the chambers when on boost. But also, even if the timing is
correct on a turbo charged car increasing the boost without matching the fuelling will cause it to detonate without fail!
