another problem

i have converted my downpipe flange to vband.

now for some reason its about 5mm from going on turbo square because the other end of the downpipe is hitting the gearbox cradle. so i need to slightly bend the downpipe down more so the flange sits correctly.

ive tried to put it in a vice and bend it but dont move

can i heat it at a bend would it be a lot easier then, like said i only need 5mm.
