Price of wood has definitely gone up and I would shop around.
Wood yard literally 50 metres from my house wanted £150 for some 3x3, 4x2 and featheredge for me to finish my enclosed area for car parts, supposed cheap timber yard about 5 miles away wanted over £200

and B&Q wanted £98 for the lot
Granted, the quality of the wood in B&Q may not always be quite as good as other places, but @ less than half the price, the wood was not half the quality if you know what I mean.
Still hefty price though either way you look @ it. I paid £250 to do all my decking about 3 years ago (20ft x 15ft raised on sloped concrete), including all the supports, fixtures, etc....
