You will have to pay import tax but you need the owner to write you a reciept of the amount i got my old Sierra Cosworth from Guernsey i said i paid £1000 for it but you might get away with a lot less on a fiesta turbo say £400 as they dont really inspect it.

also when you get it back you need to got your local DVLA office to get it registered and they usually have a reg number it can go on fairly quickly.
