I'm new around here, but thought i'd share my good insurance experiences with you!
I have just got a mk6 Escort Finesse, and will be creating an RS/Gti replica over the summer! (It looks like a right Grandad car atm!)

As it's a 1.6, and I'm only 19 with 2 years experience, but no NCB, I thought I was going to get battered by Insurers. But it wasn't the case!

I used GoCompare and got a best quote of just over £800, from Admiral.
Used Elephant.co.uk to get a private quote, it came down to £740.
Rang up Elephant and added my parents on - £650 + £70 UK Breakdown!

Adrian Flux couldn't get close - they quoted me at £1500, the nice lady told me i'd be better elsewhere...

Unfortunately I needed the Insurance next day, and CKI were closed, so I couldn't get a quote from you

Next time I'll definately bring my GTi replica to see what you can do for me
