Still can't find any plate, but managed to find a 20" sch 120 (39mm wall thickness) piece of LF60 tube (there is only one 6.9m length in the whole of the country and it is a mere £1,650 + VAT per metre ), but as this is going to be a saddle it is the wrong radius . Back to searching for some plate (to be pressed - as it is too thick to roll) . LF60 is actually a heat treat flange material (quenched and tempered), but as this is going to the petrochem industry in Nigeria, the saddle has to be made of a similar spec material.
