The bonnet was raised on my s2 due to the fact u could feel the inlet manifold through the bonnet thats how close it was! so with engine rock(even though i had vibratechnic engine mounts) it would of dented the bonnet! also it knock a few degrees of my runnin temps whihc is a lot when ur @ the heat levels my car used to run @!
