well thats why i thought i would mention getting it checked.

cos when my idle started to cut a so called "expert" on rs turbo's told me it would just be the oil scoop in the sump would be gunked up. so took the sump off and the mesh in the scoop was slightly stodgy. Then had the car ready to go to the tuners and it started doing it again. Swung into my regular garage and they checked the oil pressure and informed me i had about 4-5 months left before big ends gave up.
Took the engine out and stripped it down and it was in a right state :s
