wouldnt really drive it if you can help it, but if you have to then get it to work and fix it asap

I dont have any pics of my escort gbox resto, but heres some of the ones form the astom martin i did back in january.

The concept is basically identical.
Old and new thrust bearing


old and new clutch


Apply grease to the arms


Fit springe, push into place with screwdriver, make sure they locate!!!


check it all moves as it should


fit clutch, remember to align the plate and use the marking you made or the fly wheel will be unballanced!!


Check its all tight and refit the gear box and the interior.

JOB FINNISHED

go for a test drive

(I must appologise for the state of the car its filthy)

This is its first outing so was a bit tence and took it steady. Dont want to rev it just yet, will check timing again tommrow and have one more look to see everything is as it should be!
