We just play boring football, slow on the break, and once we get a lead we just try to sit on it ... Been happening for years, everytime we go a goal up we sit back, and don't kill the other team off.

How can you NOT play Gerrard and Rooney together? We lack attacking flair, and they played very well together last night. Also I think we need more players to gamble and get in the box, a lot of times we had a chance to cross and no-one was in the area!

I would play a 4 4 1 1 attacking like Man united do, main striker, attacking forward/midfileder playing just off the striker, and the wide players + one central midfielder can join, leaving a holding midfielder sat. Works very well IMHO, and it works well on champ manager so it MUST work in real life
