Rule bending is rife in both racing and rallying.....you only have to go to an international event and watch the grp n cars going through scrutineering....the cars sound really docile at scrutineering....quick ecu and exhaust swap and hey presto a showroom car that can perform as well as a grp 'a' car....at the time toyota got banned people even at club level in the u.k. were swapping restrictors on road section etc.....that's why now the fixing bolts have to come right through the compressor housing....still the most unfair thing in club rallying we have to run restricted cossie's but you can legally run a 450 bhp metro...
