I recall a few years back Toyota were BANNED form WRC for at least one full season (1 year). Huge news as at the time they we're winning everything.

The turbos on their Rally Cars had the 34mm restrictor fitted, but they had found some way of by-passing it, with a "trick" turbo design - it was deffo ileagal - as Toyota did not even apeal the 1 year ban.
Anybody know how the "trick" turbo was done?? Any pics/cutaway drawings etc???

Have wondered about this for ages..........
