yeh

A 25 year old with no claims say £400-500

A 25 year old trader you can easily add a grand to that!

My sisters ex boyfriend who worked in insurance was with a trade company, and as I had my work truck, the wifes car and my other toys he set me up a traders policy. Was about £1750 i seem to remember, and worked out nicley with the tax side of things.

I got the escort cossie added and it went to £3200.

I was 24 and paying £200 to insure the poxy thing to drive it probably 4-5 times a month!

This year ive stoped the traders policy as i refuse to pay another £1700 for the 6th year running!

So I basicaly insures each car with a different company who each specialise in that specific vehicle, ie the Golf gt on admiral for the young driver, My landy is with NFU etc. Worked out much cheaper.

And I found a lot of companies would honour the NCB and not actually take it allowing you to keep it where it was. All they needed was written proof that you had them.

Quote from tony on here was about £350-400 for a sapp cossie.

Thats with 7 yrs honoured NCB (not actually taken)
Fully comp
All mods declared
Aggreed milage (only down side) and valve.

The RSOC also do a discounted insurance scheem, but i never bothered to look into it as i gave up on the club as all that memebrship money you only get a shit bimonthly mag
