Basically i've just got an engine running that hasnt run for a long time. The car was originally taken off the road years ago due to gearbox issues.
Everything's fine and all runs (on MFI). It even just passed an MOT with a little CO adjustment

It's fitted with a standard ECU (Just to get it mobile) but i've already got a -31 actuator fitted in readiness for the chip.
The car has a reluctance to boost up (I'm being careful not to go above half a bar because of the standard ECU) and i put this down to the standard ECU.
I fitted a Superchipped ECU from my other RST, and the engine struggled to come on boost even more!
Question is, does it just need a good set up with a chip and the -31, or is there likely to be something else amiss? I'm trying to sort it so i dont go for a set up just to be told "This is knackered or thats knackered"
Any help would be greatly appreciated
