righto in the middle of trying to make up an adaptor to fit my turbo to my standard n/a type manifold.
Took my car down to a mate who used to be a welder, he said the turbo flange i have and the stainless steel pipe i have will easily MIG but he's totally unsure about welding the stainless steel onto the cast manifold..
anyway i was thinking i would be better to get a stainless steel flange to fir the manifold and just get the whole thing MIG welded, but i wont be able to get a flange until the weekend or after.... so...
is the flange on a standard downpipe ok to weld onto the stainless steel?.. i mean i presume it's a mild steel flange?!
thanks a lot!
