From memory BD14s need pistons machining aswell but then as chip said theres alot of variables, as alot of ppl will know even standard cams leave little dents in pistons if the heads have been skimmed as the clearance is reduced, not heard of standard cams being used on 400bhp engines?! but then im no expert so.

I have been told how ever that with bd10s you do gain a bit of bhp from them but you do loose torque compared to standard cams which some ppl prefer!
