ok folks ,

friends cars got a issue , its huting through the revs , low on power , and stalls every now and them and the engine management lights came on

have the feeling its the mass air flow sensor , all roads seem to point to this

but could it be anything else , cars probably coming down to check for air leaks ,

its a 1.6 ford focus on a x reg ,


on a sub-question , will any other mass air flow units fit this car ?

ie the 1.8 foci , or a fiesta jobbie ect ?

may make getting one cheaper ,
