hey phil its good to see you on here after adrenalin trip

you need a 3 door mk5 shell

replica kits are fiberglass but make sure you have a good look around as some are realy cheap and dont look like a genuine escos. See my thread in my sig to have alook at my rep build

Make sure you get a kit where the front arch's match the wheels, some are moulded of genuine cosworth items which is no good for a replica as the wheel base is longer on a cosworth than it is on a standerd escort, so the front wheels sit too far back in the arch and looks naff

also on the rear quaters make sure you get a kit where the quater meets the rear spoiler correctly, some fall short and it doesnt look right.

personaly i dont see the advantage of making a 4x4 cosworth rep.. you wont gain anything as the cost involved to do the work will be near the price of a genuine cosworth if not over, it will be good to see with a impreza engine but otherwise id have a think..

my rep is staying fwd using a focus rs turbo engine so it will have good power and be able to handle it, BUT it will be reliable and can be used everyday comforatbly unlike a genuine escort cosworth which you wouldnt want to use as a daily driver.
