Got my date through today - 27 April at 8am in Bishopbriggs. I can legally drive the car there and back without a tax disc or even number plates so long as it is insured! I'm kind of leaning towards a short-term policy until I know it has passed and can be registered - does anyone do those for modified cars?

Meantime I need to get it back from paint, get my finger out and refit everything then get it across to the garage for a final check and maybe even an MOT, even though I don't technically need one.

The 27th of April is my 24th wedding anniversary, so it's either an omen or another excuse for a moan from she who must be obeyed!
