Well not necesarily, my boss has welded up loads of cracked heads with alot of success, you shouldnt be so quick just to throw something away! unfortunately my boss's big tig welder is broken at present hence why i had to get another machine shop to do it but not sure if they done a proper job or not, just gonna have to wait and see also dont forget how expensive a good, thick and ported head is!
