mark, I used to work for Volvo dealership and was always driving different cars all over the country. I used to like the S40/V40 classic sport 1.9D quite a lot. I even manged to aquire one as my "runabout" for a while at work.Personally I think they look smart and off the top of my head I cant remember any common problems with them.
