What's a normal IT job? Job definitions get more and more granular the larger the company you go to. Like, a Technical Architect is a 'normal' IT job in a company large enough, and that could be paying up to £120k!

If you mean something like helpdesk work, then I dunno, £16-25k on a perm basis? Contract rates have dropped up to 50% in the past 12 months though
