Hi All

Not a regular poster but read a lot of the threads. Great source of info.

In wind tunnel testing the aerodynamics of a car are effected by the movement of the road under the car and also by the motion of the wheels. In standard aerodynamic work there is probably no need for a fully moving "road" as the difference would be small. I believe it has to do with testing ground effect and under body air flow. The world of racing every little advantage is required and so if the aerodynamics is effected by the road motion then more than likely they will test it. If I get anymore info I'll post.

My two cent worth

Dave
