To answer your question, no they are not the same. The ST170 calipers are unique to the model.

As with what Rich170 says, all Mk3 Mondeos have the same calipers (two different versions though based on age, but direct replacements for eachother). You can run a mk3 Mondeo caliper with an ST170 disc (unless you feel like drilling out a mk3 disc for 4 studs).
