The company gave him bad after sales service. No excuse for being a clever dick on the phone to customers.
Name and Shame so the company can sort the problem out. If you just phone them back and tell them of the problem they will most probably give you some bullshit on the phone like "we will make sure it never happens again" then do nothing.
If their image is tarnished on the internet, they might be slightly more motivated to address the issue as they have a greater risk of loosing future sales.
