Pro Karts are twin engined 4 stroke Honda things, what you want is a 2 stroke karts like TKM or Rotax.

TKM is generally cheaper but not as big grids depending on where you go. Rotax is more common but also a lot more expensive.

Saw a gearbox kart a few weeks ago and those things certainly move, possibly not for beginners though!
