Things to check:

Cambelt and water pump change before 60k miles.
Front wishbone bushes.
Between 1500 and 2000rpm might have a hesitation, normally caused by standard dump valve or the N75 sensor next to it - easy to replace.

They are brilliant cars and I love mine. People are not that bad taking the piss it's a Skoda. If they do ask which company build Skoda's and which company build the Bugatti Veyron
