i have had to post again in this thread even though i said i wouldn't for 2 reasons:

the first being to say:
thank you porkie

and second to say:
there will always be people who hold different views to your own or mine or my cat's or my donkey's uncles sisters tree frog, limiting these views will only serve to make people want to express them in other ways, so as long as people can be happy with someone elses views and not take offence that they are the othe persons views then i can't see a problem, obviously this won't stop people saying "you are wrong about god/darwin" but at least you can both say "well, i tried to change your views, but you haven't so we can both go our seperate ways still being friends" i can't see what harm will come of this
