My dad had a 1990 one about 10-12 years ago the same colour as mine with black leather, a 2.0 manual which was a real nice one which he kept for 8 years before trading for a 1998 Scorpio Ghia 2.3 which he didn't like and only kept her for 18 months

Yeah, the engine never missed a beat in the few years I had it and was approaching 100k by the time I sold it.
Unfortunately, probably due to a dodgy repair job sometime in its past before I had it, the laquer started to lift on the bootlid, up the C pillar, and on the edge of the N/S rear wing. Nice car to drive though when you just wanted to stick it in 'D' and cruise about. Air con never worked though lol!
