I bit my lip so far & not replied on the other threads but after the blanket media coverage today of her wedding everytime i turned the tv news on i've had enough of seeing her face tbh
Even more so when info released by Max Clifford today says that she was paid £750k by one of the usual fucking trash mags to do exclusive picture rights & will make a further £250k+ from the reselling of copyright of the pictures to other media outlets & international press, media & magazines
So £1million pounds plus paid to a so called "celebrity" BUT how much of that money is going to be donated to cancer charities WHO HELP NORMAL PEOPLE WHO LIVE IN THE REAL WORLD & HAVE TO LIVE WITH CANCER such as Cancer Research, MacMillan, etc? - Errrrrrr a big fat zero, none, nada, nothing
If Jade Goody really did care about how cancer affects other people, LIKE SHE CLAIMS TO IN SOME OF HER INTERVIEWS
, then why doesnt she support the charities that support people with cancer who live in the REAL WORLD? I'm sure she could afford a % of her earnings to be donated to charities
End of the day she is using her condition to publicise herself & make more £££££ rather than really giving a shit about anyone else who has ever suffered or will suffer & die from cancer
She brings a whole new meaning to the quote "Live by the Media, Die by the Media"
And before any of the Pro Jade Goody lot get the hump over this, i've had to deal directly with cancer in my immediate family so i know pretty well how cancer impacts on peoples lives - my father died from it, two of my grandparents died from it & also an uncle as well over the last 20 years - it is not a nice thing to deal with for the person in question or their family either
The difference is people in the real world don't seek publicity for their condition just to keep themselves in the news
