i think JC was having a good day until him and scotty had a little bit of a tussle then out come the black flag think it was cos they were together they were to loud

so JC turned down his boost and out he went again next thing was JC pulled into the pits with a cloud of smoke behind his car

thought he had blown it up

BUT just before they left he had it runing for ages and there wasnt any smoke so who knows
