ive just got myself a stripped mk3 escort shell going cheap from a friend, after some donut finished my mk4 erst off... well to be honest finished off is a little bit of an understatement, obliterated is more the word. like parking his car not only in my boot but rear seats...(SHOULDNT use your phone while driving!)
no chance of saving the shell =(
so ive pulled the engine,box,loom and anything else i could use and bolted it all in my work van (mk4 escort van.)(pub talk been taken a little too far haha) but it makes getting up in the morning and going to work a whole lot better lol
but anyways moving on
in my garage now i have the mk3 rolling shell and sitting outside a 2.0 zetec mondeo.
the mondeo has been my run around while ive been working on the van.

how would i go about 'dropping' the zetec in the mk3, could i just use everything from the mondeo and put it in the mk3?

Engine mounts? can i buy one that will fit because i dont have access to a welder to fab the old one.

i think i may have read something somewhere about changing the sump for a 1.8 fezzy item?(i probley have it wrong lol)

if i was to run throttle bodies how would i go about that?

i know its not going to be quick 'bolt it on and leg it' job.

my first car was my erst and thats the only thing ive worked on.
my problem now is i have no haines manuel lol

in other words...
I NEED YOUR HELP!
i really want to do the work myself then pay someone to set it up proper.
