my first car was a 1360cc diesel 106, that was 3ish years ago and also paid £1300 for my first years insurance at 18... so imo an S1 is well out of the question unless you are willing to pay more than the car! plus im guessing you have a crash on your record which will not help you at all!!!

im gonna repeat whats been said above and tell you to slow down. the other option is to get an S1 anyway, and restore it then when yo ucan afford the insurance you have a spot bollock car that you know inside and out?
