Ive had a peugeot partner van for 4 days now, its a gr8 little van, mechanically sound with a few dents here n there.

Ive had to wriggle the key about in the ignition to get it unlock the steering and get it started, but after 4 days, wriggling doesnt work anymore.

Close examination of the key shows that it is very worn, ok, new key time.

ive phoned peugeot, they asked me for the immoboliser code, i didn't get it with the van, so they want £55 to find it out for me, my new key will cost me £22.21 and my 8 digit cut number is £19 (this determins the shape of the key?)

an automobile lock smith wants £175 for a new key and he will cloan the immoboliser code at my house.

My question is does anyone know how to find out the immoboliser code and save me £55. I know people can find codes out for radios, but can they for immobolisers ???
